Wow, we are so excited to have this place in Pacific beach! Not only do they have vegan options, the vegan options they have are truly well-thought-out and so delicious! Everything we had was phenomenal. They used quality vegan meats and cheeses, they make their vegan meatballs in house, and they have vegan butter so the the possibilities are really endless. The owner was a delight, and the executive chef was fantastic. We will be regulars here for sure.

Sauced is really good. Exceeded expectations. Have to admit from the name of the restaurant and the decor, I just expected a casual pizza shop with non-descript Italian food....well, was I pleasantly surprised! The veggie lasagna was as good as any I've had at much more upscale Italian restaurants. Can't wait to come back and try more of their dishes. Job nicely done, and beyond friendly service....

What a fantastic place! We were craving pizza and found this near Mission Bay RV park. It had so much more to offer! We had bread sticks, a Caeser salad and a pizza. Everything was excellent. The owner and the staff are super enthusiastic. The only reason I gave 4 stars in atmosphere is that we had to keep our coats on, it was cold and the door is left open. I would go here once a week if it was in my neighborhood!

The BEST breadsticks and customer service!! The owner, Christina is awesome! Her positive energy is infectious, she genuinely took time to talk to every table and get to know everyone there. This is a great little Italian spot addition to the PB neighborhood. The lasagna was also excellent. We stuffed ourselves!l with so much delicious food. I can't wait to come back and try the pizza.

On October 25th, Mark Murino handed the keys of iconic Marino's Italian Restaurant on to me, Christina Cunningham, a San Diego native and the owner of brand-new Sauced Pizzeria! ​ ​ Originally opened by Sam Marino (the "1st" Marino family) in 1954, Mark Murino's family purchased the restaurant in 1977, and Mark took over in 2012 when his parents officially retired. Well, now it's Mark's time to "retire" into a new chapter of his life, and I am ecstatic to be the new owner taking the helm! While celebrating the countless memories made at Marino's, I know these walls can hold so many more! I am eager to meet and host the long-time "Marino's regulars", while welcoming in an entire new generation of Pacific Beach residents. Like Marino's, Sauced Pizzeria is also a family-run restaurant! When you hear my Executive Chef call me "Aunt Christina", he's for real, and Halle, your Sunday afternoon server, calls me "mom". And now, we look forward to becoming part of your family. Let's break bread together.
